Among the many blessings we enjoy in worship at COS is our cultural diversity. (Yes, I know–it could be better. But quit beating yourself up and take a look around!) This week that took the shape of Anne Zaki, who sang the Lord’s Prayer in her native Arabic. The song has a beautiful and haunting melody. More importantly, it allowed us to pray expansively, getting outside our own skin momentarily as we joined with Egyptian Christians and the whole Church to pray the prayer Jesus taught us.
